Fantasia

This is an art project I had to do. We had to draw a portrait, and add a background to it. I've lately been working on drawing people anyways, so this was a good assignment XD It's Fantasia from American Idol.
I was looking at the cover of her single "I Believe" and got the idea to add her to a group picture I WAS doing...
This took me about 5 hours total from start to finish, on and off for over a week.
The scanner kinda messed the shading value, so I decided to color it ^^
I also promised myself that I'm not going to do sonic art for anymore of my school projects this school year. People keep asking if sonic is all I can draw, and it's getting to me a little. I prefur drawing sonic and anthro stuff overall, but I can do so much more as well.
*oops...rant *
But that doesn't mean I'm not going to post sonic stuff anyways I just wanted to try and do people a little. It's nice to brush up on stuff once it awhile :3
